Switching tank setup...

MyNameIsAl Oct 13, 2003 11:41 AM

I was wondering, off my 13 tadpoles i was wondering if some should be moved from the aquarium they're in to a setup with land an water. About 6 out of the 13 have hind legs, and one even has very developed front legs. I was wondering if i should put some in a half water/half land tank?
If so, is there a specific setup? And should i start feeding the developed ones live prey instead of vegetables? Thanks.

The one with front legs needs a place to get out NOW, or it will drown.

Well I moved Battosai, my four-legged tad, to a larger tank with a pool and lot of rocks. I have one more question, do i need to feed him, or will he just absorb his tail as nourishment? Thank you

Yeah, he probably wont eat for awhile, just let him absorb his tail.
