Hibernation?

rugha Oct 13, 2003 11:57 AM

I have three corns, two are housed together. The other is a juvie and is by himself. The other two are in a large 60 gallon tank, the normal is very large and the snow is about 3.5 feet long or so.

My question is should or how do I let them hibernate? Is it neccessary?

It's most often done for breeding (to get them in 'the mood' for spring) - but it's not even necessary then.

Besides that, some people like to do it to give them a break for a couple months.
