Ruby im not positive but i think it was Felix.He was also in silent films.Me and Davy Crockett used to watch him all the time.

HMMP WEll.I guess your going to count KRAZY Cat that was drawn in 1910 by George Herriman.Then Korky and Felix came along in 1928.
Felix was the first to be famous and was adapted to the cartoons and by far the most popular of all of them.Yes he was first on paper mache.
I just talked this over with Davey and he seams to think Krazy Cat was first to.

well i know scientists have found 'cartoon' styled drawings on some ancient egyptian tombs and buildings. i belive some of them were of cats. but of the modern age...i think it was felix.
