Canned Pumpkin addict

JaimeMarie Nov 01, 2006 04:33 PM

Mya is addicted to the canned pumpkin. Last night I let her lick the plate after Gabby was done. Tonight I gave her 1/2 teaspoon and Crash and Gabby a one teaspoon. Just to try and get them all regular. Well not Mya she is regular but she was bugging me. So I was sitting on the couch after. Mya comes out and starts pestering me. I was like what do you want. Thinking she needs to go out.
Nope she goes to the fridge. I was like what the heck, so I opened the door and she pushed the pumpkin can.
Chicken burning gotta go.

I am glad they like it. It is what the vet originally wanted me to try for Stanley's hard stools -- to soften and keep him regular. Neither he nor Pookey will eat it, tho...

Pumpkin will help firm loose stools and soften hard ones - so it's great if you have a kitty who will eat it! Just don't let your pumpkin eater over do!

Yes both Crash and Gabby will eat it. I'm not giving them more than 1 tsp a day. Do you think that is to much? I'll stop once they seem to be regular. And I don't think the 1/2 tsp to a 1 tsp Mya is getting will hurt her. I won't give her more even when she asks. I give her a dog cookie instead.
