Boring Old Normal Again

cyclopsgrl Jan 16, 2007 06:13 PM

Vet called last night. Pookey's expanded Thyroid results are dead center of normal. Not sure why he was elevated six months ago, but after her exam and the focused blood work/results, probably no Thyroid problems anytime soon.

Thyroid is the one thing I don't worry about too much with my two. I know many folks with cats that have lived many, many years on thyroid meds...

So, Pookey is perfectly normal once again, physically, that is. No problems ever aside from the cancer due to the Rabies shot three years ago... She did mention his lower back is sensitive (like a bruise, only hurts when you press). Three legged animals put extra pressure on their lower back. We may have to treat that down the road if he experiences pain...

Yeah, there is no cure for being a cat....but isn't that why they are so entertaining?

Glad to hear your boring news!
