Hi,

Whenever a tumor is surgically removed, there is a chance of tumor cells being left behind. These cells can grow and divide and become another tumor.

If you are worried about Piper, please make an appointment with the vet.

If she hasn't had a check-up recently since her surgery last summer, it is a good idea to have a follow-up vet visit to run her blood work and make sure everything is going well... Since she's had cancer, a vet visit every six months for the first year or two is a good idea.

Hi,

I'm glad that Piper will be going to the vet. If she does have another tumor, or more than one, perhaps they can be removed.

Please let us know what the vet says.

Regards,
PHKitkat
