I live in NYS how can I get a permit to have a venomous reptile??

Call the special license unit....518-402-8985 and request an application, they are pretty difficult to get ahold of at times, so be patient. Remember to check your local/city laws, they may have different ordinances. If you live in Albany county, NYC, or Auburn, you might as well forget it, you'll still get the permit (assuming you're not a minor or don't want any endangered species), but you may pay a fine or worse if caught.
