And again

Crash's chin is yet again opened back up. She hasn't even finished the anti from last time. I can't afford to keep bringing her to the vet's office. I don't know what to do.

I'm sorry. **GLOWS** to Crash. Have you posted on the health boards so Kitkat can offer advice?

Smile, it will make them wonder what you are up to!

How perplexing... Especially because she got better when you switched to glass/ceramic bowls... I hope you figure this out... Stupid question, but you switched out both food and water? I am sure you did. How perplexing...

Yes I switched both bowls.

Her chin smells horrible. I'm peroxiding it again tonight. Than I'll put some antibiotic cream on it. I called the vet and left a message. I don't know what the point of going back in is, they just keep puting her on the antibiotics that aren't working. And she is still on them.

If it is cancer, I have decided I'm going to have to have her put to sleep. If it was in her leg it would be one thing, but this is her chin. I don't want to make her suffer.

Hi Jaime,

Can you possibly take a picture of this thing so I can see what it looks like? I know it's an open wound but that can cover a lot of different things.

Good morning. I can't find a memory stick that works. And I have no school today due to 8 to 10 inches of snow out there. Maybe I'll be able to get the camera from work tomorrow.
As of today the big smelly gross scab thing is gone. I put a TON of neosporin on it before I went to sleep last night. This morning the scab is gone and the wound is a little oozie. But I can at least clean it now. It still doesn't smell good but I think I can get it a little cleaner. The vet's tech told me to only use water. I'm thinking peroxide if she will let me. Than coat it again with the neosporin. And she is on antibiotics, so I'll give her the pill tonight. This is so frustrating!

Vet's office called and canceled Crash's biopsy. And what should I do about the huge chunk of sking hanging off her chin?
It is rather gross. Oh and I forgot to get the camera from work. But I might go by the school tomorrow for a while. If I remember (probably not forgetting everything lately), I'll bring it home.
