We managed to catch Boris last evening with a "new toy". My husband has been finding his shoes in different places in the morning when we get up. While we suspected "you-know-who", we didn't have the proof until last evening.

I love that picture! Boris is a very handsome cat. He looks like a Russian Blue; do you know if he has that breed in his background?

Yes, he is a Russian Blue - according to both the shelter vet and my vet- probably close to full-blooded or pet quality. He was found along side a very busy 4-lane highway and the opinions at the shelter indicated that he might have accidently escaped from a traveling vehicle while it had stopped. Either way- he is a handful and yes- he was caught red-handed!

Does that toy come with smell-o-vision?

My parents first cat, Foggy, was a russian blue. They were told at the time (early 60's) that it was a breed trait for the cats to leave and find new owners if they didn't like you! Guess you and hubby rate....

Well I guess he just wanted to be like Dad. Now he needs to get three more to match!
