My kitten has to be an outdoor cat,now

Does anyone have any suggestions to making the tranisition easier for my indoor cat to become an outdoor cat?

There is no easy way that you can do this. If she has not been an outside cat, she knows nothing of the many dangers out there. She will not understand why she lost her home and she will be frightened. Could you find her another home where she could be inside? That would probably be best for her if she has always lived inside.

Hi,

I don't know why your cat "has to" become an outdoor cat, but it's not a good idea. With all the dangers, a cat that goes outside will almost always have a short lifespan.

Please reconsider or find your kitty another indoor home.

The average lifespan for outdoor cats (those which are born wild and know it only), is 1-2 years now, before cars killed most of them, their average lifespan was 2-4 years. In captivity indoors they are living to see 24 plus years now.
