You consider cat fur in people food and drink a good source of fiber
You brush your cat with your own hair brush because he wants his hair combed before bed too
You wait to have your bedtime milk until the 20 year old bossy furball has her bedtime milk first from YOUR glass

....when you slip and tell your husband you need to clip the kid's claws before you go to the vet (peds doctor)
....your cat's continued care is covered in your will in the event of your death but you don't have guardianship papers drawn up for the baby yet (She's 16 months old already)
...when e/m to Grammy contains photos of the baby and the kitty together - again.

LOL -- This brings back a great memory. A couple years ago, I took a nap on my recliner. I woke up with Stanley draped across my mid-section snoring away and Pookey draped across my legs... I stayed in that position for a very painful 30 minutes -- to not wake them -- having to go to the restroom very badly (Stanley was hitting a kidne) and with no feeling in my legs... I finally HAD to get up... But, they were just so cute... We've never all three taken a nap together in the same chair like that (and haven't since).

Or when you share a california king-size bed with your cat that likes to sleep stretched out sideways so your hubby hangs off one side of the bed and you the other so as not to disturb the sleeping kitty.

You wait two hours to turn the page of your newest thriller and find out if they killer's bomb really worked, because your kitten fell asleep on the top half of the book while you were reading the bottom half of the second page. Lessa has a problem with me reading Lyncoln Ryme novels.
