Long story short, the cats (Butterscotch, a Maine Coon, and Popcorn, a Domestic Shorthair) were here first, and then we added the dog (a PitSenji named Nakai). For about the first six months we refered to Nakai as "Scarface!"
Almost two years later, all teritories established, Butterscotch *still* runs from Nakai when he sees him coming, but then Butterscotch lays on the floor about six feet from Nakai and gives him those squinty-eyed "kitty kisses."
What's *that* all about? Does Butterscotch like Nakai or not?
