WEE ANNIE

MANXANNIE Jul 11, 2003 09:49 PM

Annie came to me when she was 3 years old . She was born
with a birth defect , she had only one nasal passage . Also ,
her growth was stunted . At seven years old , she weighed
only 6 lbs . Because of the birth defect , she snorted & I
sometimes had to follow her around with a Kleenex . In spite
of the problems , tiny Annie was amazing . She was a black
Manx , no tail , long legs & big expressive eyes . She
walked like a ballerina , could run like the wind & actually
sailed from chair to chair . I had a pillow on the computer
table & she fell asleep many a night watching the screen .
But , in May , Annie's vital organs began to fail . I know
how hard my vet & the specialist tried to help her but she
died within 2 days . Wee Annie , it is me using all those
Kleenex now , wish you could have stayed more than 4 short
years , wish you were near me on your pillow . I love you
Annie .. always did ..always will .

I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like Annie was very lucky to have you even for 4 short years.
