Our gentle giant of a tomcat, Bruiser, who we rescued at work, but turned out to be FELV+, is living at Rikki's Refuge in Virginia. He caught a cold that has escalated into organ failure. He still has a chance, but it is going to be a tough fight.
We are thinking of you, Bruiser!

Thank you so much for your good wishes. Unfortunately, I have to report that Bruiser passed away after receiving intensive round-the-clock care at home. I am happy that he was surrounded by people who loved him, rather than being out in the cold where we found him, but it is difficult not to wish a longer life for him.
