Our darling boy. We only had just under 2 years with him - a rescue cat, handsome, brave and strong. Until that fateful night when he happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and could not outfight the dog.

Always in our hearts, the pain so raw and the memories so vivid. We will never forget you. Sleep tight pussy cat.

If only.....so many 'if only's but the truth is that you would never have been happy as an indoor cat so that's what I must keep telling myself. Time will heal our broken hearts but you will always be remembered for the happy, chirrupy cat that you were. Hoping that your spirit lives in our house forever

Hi There,

I am so very sorry for your loss. Max was such a special and beautiful boy.

I have played that "if only" game many times myself. It's one of the ways we tend to react to a sudden loss.

Please try to concentrate on the good things---Max wouldn't have had much of a life at all if you hadn't rescued him and I'm sure that even though the time you had together was much to short, the memories are precious. Max will always be in your heart and nothing will ever change that.

Thanks you guys. It means a lot to me to stay grounded and keep posted. I will have to get some pics of my gal Pepsi up too. She is a special rescue girly too
