Happy birthday to me- two new PTS babies in the house!

jess b Oct 13, 2003 04:06 PM

Gertie had her twins last night- they look healthy and have fat little bellies. Her first twins were 12/31/01, and her singleton 10/21/02. With the new set being born 10/13/03- she seems to be very 'regular'.
They are both classic stripe PTS. One is 82gm and one is 86gm.
Gertie is her typical post birth cranky self.
Cheers, jess b

SOUTHERN FLORIDA CORUCIA RESEARCH CENTER (SFCRC)

Location: LEE/1.

Jess,

Sherri was elated at the news.

Since many indoor breeders have problems in breeding, You are to be admired for your breeding success. As Sherri said " It must be the mulberries". Lol. At LEE/1, We have 6 neonates for this year. Again, all births here have been Singletons.

I hope all is well with your pregnancy. I figured your hadn't posted lately because you were either busy or not feeling well or both.

Take Care,
Brian

How many are they now? Do the parents have preferences?

There are now 7 PTS in a 5'x3'x2' enclosure 5 of which are juveniles. No fights yet, but this is TOO CROWDED in my opinion and I am planning to move the 2 twins from 2001 out soon (they are very close to Dad's size). One I am pretty sure is male, and needs to go soon- he is bothering his mother. I am not sure about the other 2001 twin yet.
Cheers, Jess b

The Twins are beautiful. I hope all is well with your own pregnancy. Make sure your eating Mulberry salads and putting mulberries on your cereal lol. I expect to see a chapter on Mulberries included in the next addition of WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOUR EXPECTING.

Best Regards,
Jean
