maybe a dumb question but......... I wanna know!

Ok, I am looking to buy groups of beardeds...and have been shopping and noticed that almost everyone has them something X something...does no one breed the colors true? Is there a legit reason for crossing colors? Or is it just fashionable to mix and match things with beardeds? I am just curious....I am new to beardeds, but have been doing my research or a couple years now....

It's not at all a dumb question......alot of breeders including myself mix colors and bloodlines because there is a limited gene pool for dragons in the US.....this helps keep you from breeding dragons that are too closely related because of the limited original lines from which they came. There in having nicely colored, healthy, and good size dragons.
