New to the fourm and ball pythons

secretlover Oct 13, 2003 05:51 PM

Hey everybody, my name is Patrick and I and a proud new owner of my first ball python. His name is Christian and is a 22" normal morph ball. I rescued him from this bootleg petstore but he is doing great so far. He lives in a 20 gallon long tank with 2 hid spots a huge rock water dish (which he loves to scrape on) But, I will be building him a new home with tons of room and things he can climb on and around. I really got lucky from what I know so far, because Christian is turning into an excellent feeder. He just got done chowing down on a white mouse (the biggest one to date) and waste no time in spotting his prey and taking it down. I wanna thank everybody for the forum and all the great info on here. I'm going to try to get some pics of him but my cam takes really crappy pics indoors. I'll see what I can do.

Peace out
Patrick and Christian

Congrats, Patrick, and welcome to our addiction! Soon you will have more BP's than you thought possible! Many of us would suggest getting Christian on rats, if you can. They are more nutritious, and he will need them eventually, anyways.
Feel free to ask questions! Sounds like you have a pretty good setup.
