Ruby!!
Could you post the photo you have of Paula from the other board (how do you educated your little ones...) on how she is holding her cat! It is too funny!
I think she is displaying a really novel technique.

Ellen, just a hint - you don't need to bring threads back to the top by adding another discussion any longer. Just click on the little "non-threaded" at the top of the board or change your preferences to "non-threaded" and you will see all the replies in a single indent in your selected date order - new to old or old to new.

Abymom, Oh my goodness, I just tried changing it like you said following your instructions, and think that it's soooooo much better unthreaded, like you said. Thanks for the tip.

Sure Ellen, be glad to.
This is a picture of Paula when she was about 2, holding poor little Katrina who was about 6 months old at the time. You can almost read Katrina's mind in this one. She's thinking, "Oh man, when she puts me down, I'm hiding and never coming out again."
We called her Paula the Maula.

Here's another of Paula the Maula showing the proper way for a child to hold a kitty cat. I don't think that Katrina appreciates it though. Both she and KatyKatt would go into hiding whenever Paula came over.

My cats love me and are very attached to me. No question about that. But I think if I tried holding them for long times in the way Paula does, well, it wouldn't work.
Paula must get away with it because she's so darn cute!! These pictures are great. The love between Paula and the cats jumps out of these snapshots, even if the kitties don't really enjoy being held like this.

Thanks, PHAbymom, for the hint about "non-threaded." That helps alot. I am always afraid to change anything for fear I won't be able to change it back if I don't like it.
Ruby, those pictures are so wonderful! Paula is so cute with those kitties. It is amazing she is able to pick them up like that.

Thanks Ellen. When she was very young like in these pictures, she wasn't allowed to hold the kittens at all unless she held them "nice" and this is her "nice".
Her favorite cat is Simba though and Simba's favorite person is Paula. He's sleeping with her right now.
