Things we have learned from our cats

PHCurious Sep 05, 2003 10:51 AM

OK, let's see your list. What has your cat taught you? Have you caught on that it's easier to catch a spider that is crawling up the wall than it is to get one running across the floor? Or has your kitty trained you in the "deeper" lessons of life, such as the true meaning of loyalty?

Everything I ever needed to know I learned from my cat, such as..........

I have had pets ever since i was baby. There was always a lot of love between me and my pets and of course i had my favorites.
The relationship between me and Babba has been very special. For one i was never a cat person and when we were came together we were both having a problem. As everyone knows there is a special Love me and him share and Theres a lot of respect and trust to go with it.Babba has turned out to be a friend instead of a pet.Babba is never far from me weather were at home or camping. Its hard to say who is protecting who and who is watching who so they don't get lost.LOL
Oh yes i learned a lot from my kitty friend and the best thing i have learned and still learning is how intelligent cats really are.All i can say if you want a special friend then get a cat.I really feel sorry for people who are not owned by a cat.

Loyalty. Some people tend to judge others on how they look or act, but my cats don't care about that kind of thing. They don't discriminate; you treat them well, they'll repay you in kindness.
I also learned that a quick nap can revive me when I'm feeling stressed.

Actually, somebody gave me a poster...Here are my favs from it:

Variety is the spice of life: oe day ignore people, the next day annoy them

Life is hard, then you nap

always give generously. A small bird or rodent left on the bed tells them 'I care'

NOW, seriously...

Bob has taught me to show my tude when things dont go my way...
Daisy to be grateful despite all the bad things in life...

Boris has taught me to never under-estimate the thinking process of a cat. Hide it and he will find it. If he sees it, he is going to get it no matter where it is. And the number one thing-he is the master and keeper, I am his subject.

And this may be useful:

When life sucks, go take a nap. I will not solve your problems, but it will make you feel a lot better
