Captain Video is a two-person cat. He likes me and my husband pretty much equally, although perhaps me a bit more because I am the one who feeds him most of the time. However, he hides when anyone else is in the house.

Bubba loves Mike so much, but he also loves me alot. Kuma is my favorite but he seems to love mike as much as me! Macaroni on the other had is a momma's girl. Mike will get her to come over so she get get scratches (she'd do anything for scratches) but about 2 min. after she jumps on him she comes looking for me! Then she jumps on me and starts giving me a million kisses. She's my sweet little princess, my little love bug. She is the most nervous of the group so when new people come over she is slow to warm up to them unlike the boys who love everyone!

Here is a new picture of Macaroni, she's two now and excited about all the moving boxes we have!

I love that picture! Boxes are the greatest cat toy ever, aren't they?

Sorry, I am late with this one but I sm Boris's human. DH is the surrogate when I am working but after that, no one else. He will look, sniff, and turn that tail up and walk away.

Well, I have to say I live alone, and from my friend's visit experience, I know that Daisy will only be comfortable when it's only me around. She may hide, or come out but be very shy.

Bobo is more social. Especially with people he already knows or people who are friendly with him, but not overbearing. With the right words, he is always ready for a play session with the visitors.

Once a friend spend the night at the apartment, at by the middle of the night she had both kitties snuggling with her, MOL. I guess they think in the dark and with sleepy people it may be safer.

Lets see our cats people cats or a one on one cat.
I'll start with the oldest and work to the youngest.
Boots: Boots is a loner cat. He can take you or leave you. I think he is most attached to my sister Sarah.
Lizzy: is for sure a one person cat she likes my dad and that is it.
Crash: is my cat. She loves to sit in my lap as long as I am in my room. She will snuggle with any one that comes in my room. But it has to be in my room. She won't go out and seek them out. When I am not home she tries to sit in my mother's lap. Which doesn't work very well because the dog is always in my mother's lap.
Tucker: Tucker is a family cat. He was taken home at 4 weeks old. And he loved the whole family. He isn't a lap cat but he will go up to any one for a good pat.
Moxie: Moxie is a one person cat. I adopted her from a shelter when she was 8 weeks old and gave her to my bf. She is for sure his cat.
Gabby: 5 months old. I think she will be a people cat. But she is so young we will see.

Elsa loves me the most. She follows me around and cries when I'm not near. She even wanted to be near me when she gave birth this past summer - which felt like a real honor! Bonkers loves my husband most since Chuck really had him since birth and I've only been on the scene for a couple of years. However, Bonkers is really a family cat that enjoys attention from anyone and everyone. Our new little kitten, Meeks, doesn't seem to enjoy much human interaction at all right now, but we're slowly working on that.

EXCELLENT QUESTION!!!

In the past, I had a cat who was definitely a one-person (me) cat, and probably only because I fed him. Ignored the rest of the family and all visitors/friends. He wasn't much of people-lover in general.

I also lived with a cat who loved the kids but wanted nothing to do with the adults. I guess you'd call him a partial-family cat.

As for the cats I live with now, I'd describe them both as family cats. They have different roles for my husband and me though. They look to me for the cuddling and quieter activities, and to my husband for the play and silliness.

Good question!

I belong to Athena. I have four cats altogether, but she is the alpha and she makes it clear that I am hers. If she is not using me, the others may enjoy me at their leisure. However if she is using me, the others may not come anywhere near or they will be boxed. She is very shy of other people, however, and will hide if visitors come over. If they are adults and are very quiet, after a time she will come and sniff them over, but any sudden movement and she's gone again. If they are noisy, or are children, forget it. She will not come out the entire duration of their visit. She is definately a one person cat.

Next in line is Clio. She's my little calico a coworker of mine found under a car. She is human. She cannot be bothered to play with the other kittens. If I am sitting (and Athena is not on my lap) my lap is hers. My shoulder is hers. My fingers are hers and she will lick them clean. She seemed friendly enough to my sister when she visited, but has not been around anyone else, so I cannot say for sure if she is a one person cat or not. Oops. Sorry. One person HUMAN. My apologies, Clio.

Oliver and Min couldn't care less about people in particular. Anyone can come and go and it wouldn't distract them from wrestling with each other and tearing around the house. They will snuggle and cuddle me when they have worn themselves out, they will accept holds and pets when they are bestowed, but it doesn't matter from whom.

However, Oliver has decided he's a one DOG cat. He loves my dog to death, and will follow her around begging for attention. Red is my dog, Oliver is HER cat. It's nice when pets have pets

Speaking of which, I own several mice, rats, and rabbits. These also belong to Athena. They are HER pets. She supervises their feeding, and is the first to them if she thinks there is a problem. She chases the kittens away from the tanks and cages, and is very protective of them. She's been around my one rabbit since his birth, and will snuggle and groom him as if she's his Mum...even though he's fully grown. She will not even let the dog near him.
