CAT NAP

rexyboy May 31, 2005 06:49 PM

Perhaps you remember when I wrote an article titled "Forget my Husband." I was hoping to become my new kittens number one person. Well, I have still not accomplished that. However, I do get my share of affection. And although it is not even comparable to the affection my husband gets, I have learned to adjust. Rex is a wonderful kitty, he manages to wake my husband up every morning at 5:00 a.m. (even on weekends) with these awesomely huge sloppy kisses. That is after waking up from laying on my husbands head 1/2 the night. The funny thing is, my husband is a dog person....but he is changing into a cat person. Because Rex has really won him over. I thought you would enjoy a photo. And once again, I really enjoy reading in this forum.

They both look like they are enjoying their nap! When I am at home, I am Boris's #1 human but when I am at work, then hubby takes over as the surrogate. However, Boris will take turns on who has the honor to sleep next to him. At least it is not on the head!

This is too precious. If there were a prize for the picture of the week this would take it! Gotta love it!

Now your DH is going to be really angry with me because I've promoted this post which means LOTS of people will stop and take a look!

Don't tell....

What a great photo!!! It's clear that Rex loves his Daddy. And it looks like Daddy loves Rex just as much even though he claims to be a 'dog person'. Some cats are like that -they will bond with the person who tries to ignore them rather than shower them with attention.

Sorry, I didn't read your previous story but will recommend to you to get yourself a different cat to bond with because Rex seems to have chosen Daddy.

Yes, I really understand this! Voodoo loves me, but she is enthralled with my husband. She falls asleep in his lap gazing into his eyes. She kneads his stomach. She follows him around the house. I agree with the idea of getting more cats! Gracie and Boots sleep with me. When I am gone, they do sleep with my husband, however, so they are not deprived. Such spoiled children!
