tank size?

kalidraven Oct 13, 2003 07:06 PM

before i get a uro i was wondering on tank size,i have quite a few 40g breeders but wasnt too sure if that size would do untill adult-hood then build a 3x3x3 custom or i have a all glass tank about that size petsmart gave to me but there is no top and making a top would seriously suck cause its so big, so question really is would a full grown uro excape out of this tank if no branches where near the edges or can they not climb well at all?

i already have a uva/uvb light and many uva heat lamps and a UTH not used yet and some drift wood, also what can be used as subtrate and remeber i have a huge tank so nothing really expensive like calci-sand....thanks in advance

i have a 40 gallon breeder, that my uro pair live in. you can check out the pictures on my website under enclosures. they fit fine in it. I think 40 gallon Breeders are fine. it had the same amount of floor space as a 55 gallon i found.
Good luck!
