i've moved back in with my dad, and his cat is i would guess...from 7-9 yrs old, and my cat will be 2 in sept. i figured my dads cat would have been the bully, but it turns out that its my cat who is (and hes the new cat!) it struck me as very odd...but they do a good job of avoiding each other for the most part...my dads cat stays upstairs and my cat stays downstairs. they both have "other cat" experience, but i guess my main concern is if my cat will ever be nice to my dads cat? we are moving again in about a week or two...so maybe that will help?

It would probably be best for both cats if you could shut them apart somehow and let them sniff at each other through a closed door for a while. Maybe you could close one up and let the other roam and then switch out.

Since you are moving, there is probably no point in trying to properly introduce the cats, but separating them will keep them safer and also not quite as stressed out.
