Hanging around with your snake...............

Does anyone hang out with their snake around the neck.it suprised me when i was carrying it outside and he just went around my neck and i was walking with him around 2 hours.I thought the only snake to do this were boas python and other but not a diomandback water snake!

Personally I think snakes are best left off one's neck and in their enclosure. Certainly the snake's don't enjoy being carried around this way, which makes it seem more to meet the needs of the keeper rather than the kept. Just my opinion...

Is this an adult water snake ? Does he seem stressed ? I'm amazed that he didnt try a swift escape These snakes can be a bit tricky sometimes.

no hes not an adult hes 32inches.he doesnt look stress to me he very active.And im not the one who buts him on my neck he goes there himself and then just stays there.So then i walk with him to give him a lil walk and he jus stays there.It seems like he enjos it.as soo as i put my hand in the tank he ficks his tungue and then approuches me.After that he goes stright up to my neck.
