OK I'll Start....

That cat of mine is obnoxious! In the morning if she even gets a hint that I'm awake she'll try her darnest to get me up.It doesnt matter if it is 4 in the morning or the weekend.
She has a series of methods of getting me up.
First the gentle pawing at the face or cold wet nose on face.
Then clawing at cover or face(whatever is nearest)
Meowing
And last if all else is unsuccessful, a run at the bed and body slam the human. We usually don't reach this step.
Anyway one last thing how is it someone so small can take up so much of the bed.(The sad thing is I accomodate her,
I'm so well trained.)LOL

Doesn't sound strange at all to me either, Shorty. Sounds like a very smart little kitty cat. Teehee.

When I start stirring in the morning, all four of my cats go to the bedroom door and step into the hallway and then just sit there waiting to see if I'm going to go into the kitchen. Then when I get to the kitchen, it's like a kitty choir of "meow, meow, meow, meow" (as in my sig below), crying for me to give them some food.

They're all just a bunch of silly kitties!

Actually, your cat sounds normal. They have their ways of waking you up when it is time to be fed!

Smile, it will make them wonder what you are up to!

Shoot. When I saw "body slamming cat," I thought you might have a punk rock kitty!
Your cat sounds perfectly normal and very smart to me. She's not only got you well-trained, she has a complex system for it! If the morning wake-ups are troublesome, you can try putting dry food in her bowl at night so breakfast will be waiting for her in the morning when she wakes up. However, she may be waking you up not just for breakfast but also for playtime..... She's a smart cat.
