Bloody eye

fluffy_kinns Feb 08, 2005 03:16 PM

well this isn't really a behaviour problem i think its more serious, but I noticed my cat pepsi of 15 years her eye was red, it looks like blood in her actual iris and her pupils are hugely dialated like throughout the day. she walks into doors and stuff and nocks into things that are huge and right infront of her
there's blood in only one eye and it also looks a bit cloudy were taking her to the vet this weekend.
I am really praying that its nothing serious and no need for an operation

Your cat definitely needs a vet visit ASAP. If you can get it any sooner, then please do so.

Probably your cat won't need surgery because there is very little that can be done for eye problems. More than likely the vet will find a cause and tell you how to best minimize the problem.

Good luck! Let us know what the vet says!
