Respitory issues

michfrochick Mar 07, 2005 02:32 PM

Has anyone ever heard of cats being allergic to plastic food dishes? Therefore causing respitory problems? Someone told me this and it would somewhat make sense for my cat. He didn't have problems until he started using a plastic food dish vs. ceramic.

I have heard that they can have allergies to plastic but more along the lines of pimples breaking out on their faces. Maybe you should switch back to the ceramic or even a metal bowl. Plastic can absorb bacteria.
