CAT DOG?

Chiklis89 Apr 30, 2005 02:50 PM

I found my cat,Lincoln, in the woods when he was about 3 weeks old. We had a litter of pug puppies at the same time so he grew up with the puppies. he used to wrestle with them, let them drag him around by the scruff of the neck, sleep with them, and all kinds of other stuff. Now as an adult, he still acts alot like a dog. He doesnt lick himself as much as other cats do, so he is filthy. but i dont complain, cuz i am allergic to cats, but not him! ... annyone else with a crazy CATDOG?

My cat Crash would rather be a dog. She would rather play with my dog Mya then the cats in the house. When some one has food she comes running and sits and begs with Mya and mom's dog Jessie.
She does have cat traits to.

I have a male cat and he acts just like a dog. I have 4 dogs and he is always trying to rub up against them. One of my dogs, Spike, hates him and always tries to chew on him and fling him in the air. He is constantly chasing and torturing him. The strange thing is, that the cat still likes him and every chance he gets runs right back to Spike and rubs up against him, no matter how cruel Spike is to him. I have another dog, Butchy and the cat loves him. One day I caught them walking down the road together. My cat will lay with him and take walks with him. Butchy likes him though and doesn't try to hurt him. Sometimes they lay together, it's very cute! When we come home after going shopping or something, all of our dogs will run to the door to meet us and so does this cat! I have 2 other cats and they don't act like this one. I wonder sometimes if this cat has brain damage or something! It seems that no matter how cruel some of our dogs are to him, that he just never gets the hint that he shouldn't rub up against them and love on them! Another dog behavior he shows is how he sleeps. He doesn't sleep all curled up like a cat, but lays on his back with his legs sticking straight up like the dogs, has anyone else had a catdog like this?

My cat Lincoln sleeps on his back with his feet in the air all the time, its just another catdog trait he has. he also sleeps curled up like a normal cat, but he also curls the other way, bending his back like a U... he is such a freak! but i love him so much!

Oh yes! I have a catdog and a dogcat. They are so funny. We got them as babies about a week apart from each other. And Barron the dog will rub on my leg when he wants attention. (well not actually rub. He puts his back feet on my feet and peels out while jumping straight up, he will flick his butt against my leg.) And Rex the cat will run and attack your feet and legs when you walk through the room. Both come running to you when you come home. They have the favorite window to sit and peer outside. The sleep together and play together. They have a socky---Barron gets on one end and Rex on the other, and they play tug a war. Barron usually wins.
