PLEASE HELP! TORTOISE HAS A CUT

daddysbuttons Oct 13, 2003 08:41 PM

MY YELLOW FOOT HAS A CUT ON HIS NECK. ITS NOT BLEEDING ANYMORE BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS ON WHAT TO DO FOR HIM. I CAN'T GET HIM TO THE VET UNTIL AT LEAST TOMMORROW. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO FOR HIM NOW, IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I CAN PUT ON IT IN THE MEAN TIME?

The easiest thing to use from around the house is hydrogen peroxide, just as if it were a cut on a person. That will kill the germs and help it start to heal.

Swab it on with a Q-Tip or a cotton ball.
