Horse Poop and Sticks!

dipsy May 10, 2005 02:27 PM

We have a black nearly two-year-old cat who had kittens last year. But recently she has got a new obsession- bringing in sticks and horse poo from outside. We live in a part of England where the ponies wander around the town freely and our cat is allowed outside. It really is horrible waking up to a fresh piece each morning or a stick making a mess on the floor. Has anyone got a solution to this madness???

Oh dear! This is a strange one. I could deal with the sticks, but the horse Poop?

I would recommend a vet check just in case there is some medical problem that might be causing her to want to bring back horse poop. Unfortunately, it's probably just a sort of "hunting" instinct and she feels like she is bringing home the "prey". Ewww!

Other than trying to keep her inside, I don't know what else to recommend.
