gavint79 Sep 12, 2005 03:10 PM

Hi, this is the first time I write here, and maybe my english is not so good, so I'm sorry about that in advance!!!!
Now I have this problem took Max to be neutered yesterday when he arrived home his sister Mara both with 6 months old, started to do the "f" to him and to act very agresive when he is around her, they used to be loving to each other I don't understand why she is acting this way.
Can you Help me??
Thank all

Her brother smells funny and she doesn't like it, she doesn't realize he is the same cat. Once the vet smell is gone she should be fine with him. Is she spayed?

You might try rubbing them both with a towel to exchange scents a bit more. Also you might try to isolate the male for a bit until he gets his old "smell" back. Hopefully things will be OK in another day or so!

Smile, it will make them wonder what you are up to!

Oooops! Didn't see Madamae Alto had already advised the towel trick!

That's exactly the reason - he's smelling all wrong. She should be okay after a couple of days. You could take a cloth or a hankie and first wipe her with it, then wipe him with the same cloth, to transfer her own smell to him. That might help her "identify" him.
