This is my favorite forum lol. I can't believe that there has been no strange behavior in over a month! I guess I should be happy that everyone's cat is doing well. But sometimes the strange behavior is just cute behavior!

Just for the amusement factor, one thing I can post is this:
My cat has started taking his beloved jingle balls and dropping them in the bathtub. Then he jumps in and chases them in the tub. He only does this at night when we're not watching! I've tried to watch him do it, but he will jump out and look guilty. Guess I need to rig up a camera to see his cuteness.

Well, it's no problem, but it's cute, but my kitten shakes his paws off like they have water on them when he's done eating.Everytime, every paw, ever since he was old enough for solid food. He sometimes even does it when he smells something yummy and he's deciding whether he should eat it.

Hope that helped you a little!

One of ours doesn't like to be picked up. She will scream and scream if you pick her up in front of the other cats. But at night when I'm watching tv in the bedroom, she sneaks down makes sure none of the other cats are in the room then jumps up and snuggles into my armpit or my bf's armpit. She is a strange one.

Well I wish my cat's strange behaviors were all cute. The persian Mocha's are. She's Always purring and letting me rub her tummy. My younger cat though, an American Shorthair named Jetta, is driving me nuts. I've gotten her to eat with the other cat and give her treats whenever she sits next to Mocha without fighting. It seemed like they were happy ignoring each other until last week when they started chasing and hitting each other again. I don't know what to do anymore. I don't even want to ask my vet because I'm afraid she'll say I need to give one of them away which I just could not do. (As much as Jetta drives me batty shes my first kitty and I loooove her!)

I know how you feel about wanting them to get along like nice little kitty cats. My male cat, Simba, likes to bully the girls, especially the baby of the family, KatyKatt. Katy used to run and hide from him but now that she's gotten older and BIGGER (than him even) she'll just stand her ground and hiss at him or even attack him when he starts his crap.

You can imagine my surprise when I saw them on my bed yesterday actually grooming each other! Now that truly is some Strange Behavior for those two.

Hopefully your cats will eventually learn to get along too.

The first photo is KatyKatt, the now grown-up baby. And the second photo is of Simba, the bully.

Simba says 'Thank you' and to tell you that he's a Flame Point Himalayan wannabe. Doesn't he have the most gorgeous eyes? He's so loving and loves everybody to hold him and adore him but like most males, wants to be number one. So he constantly fights with the girls to establish and maintain his supposedly dominant role. The girls won't have it though so I separate them when I go to work, two on one floor and two on the other. Since Simba and Katrina get along well together, I put them in the family room.

That picture of Simba was when he was about two years old. He's eight years old now. Here's some pictures of him, some with a lion cut.

Well, now that the nights are getting cold again, Boris is back to sleeping with us. He has this rather unusual habit of making his "nest" before he lies down. This means that the covers get pulled off and piled nicely into a mound in the middle of the bed with Boris on top but for hubby and I- its called "freezing".
