I have 2 cats. One of them is a 2 year old male who has a strange obsession with any small electronic device (such as remote controls and cellular phones). He purrs while he licks, rubs his face against them and on occassion he even seems to hump them. Is this normal? Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

Hi There,
You have a couple of interesting cats!
This behavior is something I haven't seen in my own cats, although some cats seem to like licking metal. I would imagine that all of these electronic devices emit some sort of signals (and possibly sounds) that a cat can pick up, though.
It will be interesting to see if anyone else posts about this!
