CRF cat

Seti Mar 13, 2003 09:31 AM

I want to write and bring hope to those folks with cats with renal failure. Our cat is now 21 1/2 years old! He has been on SQ's for over 2 years. I know every cat is different, their disease are at different stages, etc. But you can make a difference if you elect to give your CRF SQ fluid on the advice of your vet. I didn't know if the effort and hardship for both the cat and our family would make it worth it to do something so abnormal as giving shots on a weekly to daily basis, but it has.

I look forward to hearing from others with CRF cats and I hope all will have a lot more time with their loving cats.

Thank you for sharing your success story. I am glad that fluid replacement worked out for you. I wish some of the other members had more to share with you.
