what grooming you guys do and how often you do it? Just curious, I thought it would be an interesting topic -- Jennifer

In most cases [Harlan] Ellison goes around the pit, jumps over it...or jumps right into it, on purpose, avoiding major injury either by his own talent, the grace of god, or a combination of the two.

Well, to answer my own question, we brush teeth almost every day, we clean their eyes and noses daily since most of out cats are white and it really shows up if there's a little gunk there. We brush and comb them 2-3 times per week. Every Saturday we have a huge grooming session, including the things listed above plus we trim nails and dry shampoo them with white grooming powder to make them smell fresh, and look shiny, as well as taking the stains out of the white furkids. That's about it, unless we are giving medications for a health concern.-- Jennifer

I brush my cats about 2 or 3 times a week. They both love being brushed and if it were up to them I'd stay home all day and groom them. Neither cat will tolerate having their teeth brushed, instead I have their teeth cleaned at the vet's every couple years. As far as nail clipping, Star doesn't like it, and Quentin just tolerates it. I try to clip their nails about once a month or so.

AHhhh when they start to seem smelly I give them a bath.
As for brushing pretty much don't brush. BF does brush Moxie. If he doesn't she gets mats.

As you can tell, I've gotten fairly obsessive about grooming lol. I think that might be because of having so many white cats.-- Jennifer
