Is vinegar good for cats?

AbsoluteRae Jul 06, 2004 06:05 AM

I read somewhere (ok, it was on a cider vinegar bottle) that giving your cat a small amount of vinegar in their water is good for them. Now, when I used to breed mice for my noble kingsnake Marc Antony, I would put a small amount of vinegar in their water to cut down on the urine smell. So is there any truth to this cat thing?

Thanks for any input!

I have no clue. But you might want to post on the ask holistic vet board. I wouldn't give it to them until you asked your vet.
