I've already posted this on another board but thought it would be best here on the grooming board, so here it is again.....
My male cat, Simba, gets 'shaved' a couple of time a year since he's so fuzzy and mats easily. They don't really 'shave' it but rather give him a very close clip. He doesn't mind the grooming and will just relax and let them do it without drugs or anesthestic. Here's some before, during and after photos of him and the grooming.
