How old does a cat have to be......

I've heard 11 and older. Indoor cats are living so long these days that "senior" has a whole different meaning!

There are not really two standards for indoor and outdoor cats. However, so many cats are indoors now that they have raised the bar, as it were, for being considered a senior!
