one of my cats has green poop. Could this just be because of the food they are eating? Is it their body adjusting to the food or is something else wrong. I have no idea which one it is though. I just went in the bathroom and while i was washing my hands i noticed that some ones poop was green.....

It could be from something they are eating outside. Or if you changed the food recently it could be from that.

Well i got these free samples in the mail from a high priced cat/dog food company. I just thought i'd use them. I put a little bit of it in the dish with their origonal food each day. It's almost gone. So yeah its probably the different food.

Go back to feeding the usual food and see if things improve - if not you should probably give your vet a call. There are actually several colors in poop - which combine to make brown. When one color or the other is missing that can give you the green poop or other odd colors and somtimes this can indicate a serious problem. However, it is probably just the food.
