Hi There,
There are a lot of hairball formulas out there that you can choose from. I am partial to Eukanuba and Royal Canin, although Max Cat also has a very good one. These 3 brands should be available at almost any pet store. If you are more interested in a super premium brand, I recommend Eagle Pack or Flint River. These would most likely be available at feed stores and health food stores.
You might want to go out and compare labels and prices before making your decision. I would feel very comfortable feeding any of these brands to my own babies.
Good luck! Hope you will be able to find the right food for your baby before Spring gets here
Regards,
PHKitkat
Thanks for the suggestions, actually, i had a brain fart and realized the food I've been feeding IS a hairball control formula. lol. I feed Premium Edge and its really similar to CSFTCLS and made by Diamond, so I feel comfortable using it because the ingredients are good and the ratios are awesome.
By the way, here are my two babies- thy're much younger in this picture since these were taken at 3-4 months old and they're almost 3 years now. lol.

I know it has a bad rap, but Eukanuba has worked wonders for my amost year old cat. I've tried otehr foods, soem holistic, soem not, and got the best results w/ Euk. Recently, she had a terrible problem keeping on weight and had a greasy oil slick for a coat, but when I put her back on Euk, the oily coat dried up and the hairballs/constipation also dissapearred.
I use their kitten food, but Euk also makes a special Hairball formula and a sensitive skin one, as well.
You might also try giving her Laxatone once a week as well. It's not expensive, most pet stores and bigger stores liek Target, Wal-Mart and Meijer carry it as well. It must taste OK because my cat doesn't fight me! Once squeeze from the tube and he's done!
