How long do you give ear mite medicine?

I adopted a cat a couple weeks ago and was told to give her ear mite medicine at the end of the month. (now) My question is, how long is ear mite medicine normally given to a cat? I don't think anyone has told me so far.

The cat seems healthy-- I think this is just a precaution.

It totally depends on the medication used and the severity of the mite problem. You should really be talking to your vet about this. Self-medication can cause all types of problems.
