Some Props to the Kammers....

masterplan Oct 13, 2003 10:53 PM

I just wanted to compliment the Kammers on my main chameleon, Lester. It's one thing that he is so awesome looking. However, the real bonus of the big fella is that he is just so tame and friendly.

I sometimes read posts about Chams that are aggressive and I realize that my guy is so gentle and trusting that I am truly blessed. Every time I open the cage, he immediately climbs out on my arm and then just hangs out on my arm, shoulder, or head. It's kind of weird...And when I don't have time to take him out, I actually feel guilty when those big buggy eyes are staring back saying, "where are you going, dad? Let me out..."

Anyway, I think it really needs to be repeated that when buying a cham from the Kammers, I may have paid a little more, but what I got is way more than I could have expected.

Obvious, extra props go to Lester's dad, Hoochie Coochie Man. Great breeder!

I'm still getting a sense for my female, Kubo. She is much more skittish, but she is beautiful and a fantastic eater. I just need to spend more time handling her and hopefully she, too, will be gentle.

i also have a chameleon from kammerflage kreations. he is a nosey be cross out of elros and is by far the a puppy compard o the other two older chamelons i have. one is a sambava male from amazing blue, he was very pissy and skittish when i first got him but with daily handling this past week(15 minutes when i get home from work outside) he is coming around. my other is a 1 year one female nosey be. i know females are different then males(men are from mars....well you know!LOL) and at a certain age chameolns egt pissy and just want to be left alone. i am doing the same thing with her as the male sambava, daily handling outside, and she is SLOOOWY coming around but still reluctant to be handled(yes i know they are showcase animals and not meant to be handled). she is still my favorite though! lol i don't knoe what it is i just dig her more then the "boys". lol

I had made my mind up finaly to buy a mate for my tamatave from an upcomming batch from kamer. I had been checking daily for 2 months to see if they were being sold. I was put on the contact list. it said aug./sept they will be avilable. then it was changed to oct. I checked daily still, then one day I check. . and poof "sold out"! no email from the contact list nothing. I was a bit upset with them about that. I understand its a busness and if someone bought the whole lot of them there is nothing I can do about it. But they should have given me the chance to experience their chams myself. (my complaining is done now) I ended up buying an amazing looking adult for a little more from someone else. He will be here next week and I cant waite. :D

I've gotten some wonderful chameleons from the Kammers and would not hesitate to buy from them again. One of my last purchases was to be a 7 month old female from spiderman. The day they went to pack her up Ed noticed she had a small abcess in her mouth from a cricket leg being caught there. Instead of sending me a slightly damaged chameleon they sent me a 9 mos old female breeder from spiderman that had already been mated with their gorgeous male ambanja Glorifindal. In the end did I not only get a great breeder female but I also got one clutch of eggs from their male with another clutch on the way. I don't think anyone could ask for more. Ive also gotten 1.1 ambanjas from their male Hootchie Cootchie Man, 1.2 sambavas from Don Juan, 1.2 ambanjas from Anarion, and 1.1 ambanjas from Isildur, not too mention the eggs from Glorifindal. For anyone looking to buy quality panthers from excellent bloodlines the Kammers are definately the place to get them. Heres a pic of the male sambava I got from them several months ago, hes turning out gorgeous!

Could you post a picture of the male you got from anarion? I'd really like to see what one of his babies looks like!

I would also like to see a photo of the male from Anarion and if you have it, the male from Isildur. One question, why did you buy the 1.2 Sambavas from the same bloodline? I noticed the same thing with the Ambanjas. Are you breeding them?

I have a picture of the baby male from Isildur posted in the photo gallery, I havent gotten a good shot of the Anarion male yet. They are so tiny its hard to see much. No I won't be inbreeding my panthers. I also have a male sambava from ABR to breed to the Don Juan females plus two females from different bloodlines to breed to the Don Juan male. The grand total comes to 2.4 sambavas, 4.5 ambanjas, 1.1 ambilobes, and plenty of different bloodlines to play around with

and I am very happy with him! He is still small so I can't wait for him to color up! I would love to breed him to my female (Luna's sister) when he is big enough!
They were super helpful and answered all my questions!
I am on one of their waiting lists for a female Panther.

yeah--Flash has produced some really really nice babies that grow into some REALLY nice veilds...
You know he died a few months ago. He was pretty old, and had MBD when they got him. Amazing though, he was a nice looking veilds even with the scars of early MBD.
I'm happy with my veild, one of his kids from about 2 years ago... This pics was taken under dull light with a cheap camera...
