I have a new 5 month old kitten who is sleeping during the day.
He is on meds for a upper respitory inffection. Is this makeing him sleep like he is? Is this normal Behavoir for 5 months. I just brought him home 7 days ago. When he is awake he is a normal playful kitten. Can I change his sleep habbits or should I bother since he is a kitten?
He is under vet care.

Probably it is a combination of the meds and whatever you are treating him for. A kitten should be very active at five months. Give the vet a call and ask whether this is normal for his medical condition. Hopefully your baby will be up and running very soon.

Does he sleep all day or take naps during the day? Is he up most of the night?
