Dental Problems

hamfiver May 20, 2004 02:43 AM

Hello - I've just noticed that my eldest cat is missing one of her canine teeth. I don't know how she lost it - is this something I should be concerned about? Is this a sign of a more serious illness?

It is probably not a sign of serious illness, however dental problems and gum infections can cause heart problems in cats. I'd recommend a vet check on those teeth.
