Extremely smelly poopy

Dena_jason Oct 29, 2004 08:48 PM

My girlfriend and I took in a stray about 2 weeks ago. she had a healthy litter, and the kittens seem fine. Im guessing she is about 1.5 years old and is very underweight. whenever she uses the litter box, it is very liquidy and smells like an atomic stink bomb crossed with rotten milk. she also seems to have issues making it all the way to the box everytime. her claws have been clipped, so we know she had a home. any ideas???
Thanks!!!
Jason

She needs a vet check. Probably has worms or something.
Also a change in diet can make poops runny. How many kittens did she have? You may want to keep the litter box in the same room as she is nursing the kittens in. Mother cats don't like to leave their babies. What do you mean her claws are clipped? Is she declawed, or are they just short? If they are short she can keep them that way herself by scratching on things out doors.
