My cat Jack had a really bad absess on his foot. The doc gave me medicine to give him and a salve to put on topically. The tablets were not really big and I didn't think it would be hard to get them into him. Well was I wrong. Jack was screaching and I felt like I was torturing him trying to get his mouth open and throw this tablet in the way the doc told me. Plus he was licking the salve off and scratching me.
I didn't know what to do.I called the vet back and told him this was impossible and that Jack didn't look to good and asked what to do. I started him on his first dose and he drank it right off of a paper plate like a treat.
He took all of the medicine and the absess cleared up and Jack is back to his former self.
