If I have a 1.0 Het Pied
and breed it to a 0.1 normal
The hatchlings would be 50%?
At that time I would have to breed the children to Dad to get a chance of having a Pied appearing hatchling?

O.K. What chance would I have of producing a Pied appearing on the second breeding( with Dad & offspring?)

Statistically, half the female babies will be normal, and half the female babies will be heterozygous pied. You want to find out which females are normal and which are heterozygous pied. Hopefully you will have three females to breed. That gives an 87.5% chance that at least one is heterozygous pied. If you have more females to breed, you have a better chance of having at least one heterozygous pied.
Heterozygous pied x normal -->
1/2 normal (looks normal)
1/2 heterozygous pied (looks normal)
Heterozygous pied x heterozygous pied -->
1/4 normal (looks normal)
2/4 heterozygous pied (looks normal)
1/4 pied
The fractions are the expected proportions of the different genotypes. What actually comes out is likely to be more or less different from the expected.
Any female that produces a pied baby is heterozygous pied. You want to keep those.
Any female that produces 11 babies, none of which is pied, has a 95% chance of being normal. For practical purposes, those females can be classed as normals and removed from the breeding program.

spot on. Fingercrossed you hatch plenty of females other wise you could miss.
