The great big fat one is Calypso! She weighs almost 95 grams. Thats when I weighed her a month ago, who knows what she is like now! She was my very first gecko I ever got, a pet store gecko. I love her bold markings! That pattern on her back looks like she has butterfly wings! :P

The melanistic is Camo, short for camuflage (sp?) She is just a tad darker than this pic, but it represents her pretty well. I'd love to breed her if I found a male melanistic, but no such luck at all. She is soooo tame and so adorable! I've had her probably for almost 2 years now. She's quite small. Eats like an absolute pig, but just stays small and petite in size. Not sure what makes this.

I just wanted to share this pic with you, as I know you'd enjoy it.

I just wish I could find a melanistic male and another male that kind of looks like Calypso, but all the babies would come out normal probably. I love Calypso's pattern, and believe me when I say she is HUUUUUUGE!

same problem. Sorry - I don't have one of them together, but you can see the size difference. One is 95g, the other is 40 or so. The big one barely fits on my hand!

If the fat one gets any fatter I will definately have to consider the "d" word (diet). I wonder if I should get her a hamster wheel - do you think she'd use it??

Once I reviewed the pic it showed them side to side and looks like they were together - I must have held the camera in my teeth and snapped the pic with my tongue!!!!

Laura-

I think its time for both you and I to wip out the hamster wheels and call 1-800-JENNY!

You are so talented with that camera! You should teach me a few tricks!! :P

Love the girl, she's gorgeous! It seems she's doing a good job of keeping her "feminine" figure while eating like a horse! How could I not be jealous?

...but dont let her hear that you think she's fat. It would break her poor heart! J/K :P
