My 7 month old DSH makes strange rattling noises in her chest while going to sleep. It's differant then the noises she makes when purring and sometimes she's making both noises at once. She's made these noises since I brought her home. I had the vet check her over when I first noticed them and he said it was nothing and that it should go away with time. It's been 5 months and she's still making them, should I take her back to the vet?

Hi,
It might be that you have a snoring cat, and/or that she has some kind of chronic condition, such as sinusitis.
If this hasn't changed at all, she is probably ok, but if you have noticed any changes she should see the vet ASAP.
If she is wheezing, this is another reason for a vet check. Also if you have noticed any coughing. If she has been coughing at all she should have a chest x-ray done.
